Welcome to CongPlan

CongPlan is a web application for congregation planning: meetings, assignments, field service meetings, public witnessing, tasks, notifications, and congregation administration.

What is CongPlan?

CongPlan helps coordinators and publishers to:

  • Plan meetings — Manage midweek and weekend meetings with current S-38 terminology
  • Assign parts — Assign meeting parts, technical assignments, and tasks with availability checks
  • Keep a personal plan — See your upcoming assignments, field service meetings, public-witnessing shifts, tasks, and absences
  • Coordinate field service — Organize field service meetings with leaders, meeting points, and service groups
  • Plan public witnessing — Maintain plans, locations, shifts, signups, and cancellations
  • Manage users — Maintain publishers, qualifications, permissions, invitations, and device setup

What Makes CongPlan Different?

CongPlan keeps the full planning workflow in one place. A coordinator can plan a meeting, consider absences and qualifications, review technical assignments, notify publishers, and still keep every publisher's personal plan connected to the same data.

  • One shared planning source — Meetings, technical assignments, field service meetings, public witnessing, tasks, and absences are connected instead of living in separate spreadsheets.
  • Planning with context — Person pickers and suggestion flows can show qualifications, assignment history, absences, service-group context, and current conflicts before a change is saved.
  • Publisher self-service — Publishers can see their personal plan, manage absences, sign up for public-witnessing shifts, and respond to supported swap requests in the app.
  • Real-time team work — Changes become visible without manual reloads, which reduces stale views while several planners work.
  • Modern access — CongPlan runs as an installable PWA, uses passkeys, and supports setup links, QR codes, or one-time codes for additional devices.
  • Role-aware data — Permissions and congregation isolation control which data and actions each user can access.
